For many years people from all over the world have been welcomed here in the shop. Experience of three generations in delicious chocolate products and confectionary: after grandfather André De Groote and father Herman, Hans is the proud owner of the chocolate shop Leonidas in the centre of Ypres. Even sons Thiebe and Matteo can't wait to cooperate in the family business!
Thanks to the warm welcome of Hans and his wife Stephanie you will be guided through the extensive assortment of Belgian quality chocolate and delicacies. The shop is open daily from 9.30 am till 6.30pm.

Thanks to their reputation of absolute freshness and quality Leonidas has received the title of Warrant Holder of the Court of Belgium.
Leonidas has introduced the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points System, that resulted in a remarquable freshness and quality. In specialized store rooms all gift boxes are professionally prepared and stored. The work places are designed to provide the highest hygiene, tidiness and cleanliness standards. There is a strict procedure to assure freshness, as the appreciation of the customer is the highest priority for Hans and Stephanie.
